Good to hear the UK media are reporting the facts about some of the financial challenges that would face Scotland if Scots decide to go down the separatist route and leave the United Kingdom family.

Scotland are clearly better off remaining with their family and i'm sure that is what the majority of Scots want.

Better Together.

What's everyone's favourite Iain Gray point and laugh moment?

Mines was at the last Scottish Parliament elections after a recount was called on his constituency vote. The sight of him leaning on that table, his eyes darting desperately back and forth from the voting papers to the counter

Would you like to join Iain Gray's refreshing new honesty and admit that taxes will rise in Scotland as a result of a NO vote ?

But, but, that's what ITN just said would happen if we were separate?

Well if they do you won't be alone.

The point is it's a nice piece of reality for Scots this study by highly rated financial people.

Really,there's no point in independence.

Boring,stupid and pointless.

Scots see this and after 300 years they know full well they are Scottish and British.

If Scotland faces a fiscal problem due to an ageing indigenous population, is that issue being a) hindered or b) helped by the UK Government's vile, racist Southeast dominated agenda against immigrants, regardless of their qualifications and value to society? Would gaining sovereign control over Scottish migration policy provide a very straightforward means by which to completely avoid the IFS' back-of-a-fag-packet projections?

It's a toughie.

NB: Ad Lib will no doubt be along to 'keep things honest' at BitterTogether, the BBC, STV and his own Britnat anti-immigrant party. Can't wait!

Thought the way the BBC handled this report was pretty poor chiefly hearing the coverage on "Newsdrive". Douglas Fraser never really attempted to stress the inherent flaws in the IFS assumptions.

The lack of analysis of OBR oil projections which are far below the industry estimates makes the report inherently flawed instantly. Still, no doubt the papers will run it with little critical analysis tomorrow

I don't believe the Lib Dems are an anti-immigration Party, but I do believe UK immigration law damages not just Scottish demographics and growth but the whole of the UK's. The pragmatic case is really strong on immigration for independence.

I'm sorry if this answer disappointed you.
