ICW deserves a thread on its own (have I missed it)

People need to pick their times rather than feel the need to attend every show.

And that, right there, is a major problem with having so many shows. ICW used to be a place where they built their crowd up and then had the shows far enough apart that all of them were going. Now they're not selling out venues that they had absolutely zero problem with before.

They absolutely have to stop with the FNFC stuff. At least before Fear and Loathing. If they don't, that crowd is going to be a total shocker.

Don't see the problem with it. They absolutely need to have new weekly content on the on demand service if they want to build on fan base. The one thing they could do is perhaps cut the FNFC show down to an hour and get 3/4 weeks worth of footage from each Sunday night taping. That would cut on the number of shows. 1/2 shows out of a taping is maybe stretching it a bit thin. But no-one is going to miss F&L due to squeezing in a few FNFC tapings running up to it if that is what you mean? Who would prioritise it that way?

Thing is we are still looking at this from a "live show" perspective. The FNFC are simply TV tapings and that is that. Between the on demand subscription fees and whatever fee they take from Italian tv channel, they likely cover most of the cost of putting on one of these shows.

They need to start spreading the fan base out if they want to get any bigger. I think the tours have been a good start, but that needs to be built on to make ICW a UK wide organisation rather than just a Glasgow based organisation.

Obviously they need to have FNFC to give them on demand footage - its the fine line between ICW telling people its a TV taping and tempering their expectations, and the fans wanting to turn up to watch a live ICW show.

FNFC is still at the end of the day, 4 hours worth of wrestling on the same night, on your feet in a stinky wee midden of a club. Hardly sitting in club seats at the hydro or in the comfort of your scratcher at home.

And it's a pretty shite venue that's hard to get a good atmosphere in, even when it's rammed.

And I've not been to a Garage show in years. Had the chance not long ago and the card looked great. Still didn't want to go.

Oh, and a shite nightclub doesn't have to be a bad wrestling venue. The Classic Grand was tremendous.
