Who exactly believes that apart from Celtic fans themselves? Exactly - you can't issue statements like these multiple times *every* season and still constantly talk about the magnificent reputation as if it survives intact. If it ever existed in the first place outside the imagination of the Celtic Park PR department (which is highly doubtful) , it's been utterly destroyed... After this a couple of years back: Celtic's response is eerily familiar: Celtic's latest statement urged the supporters to unite behind the club in taking action to "protect vigorously" what it said was a "wonderful reputation" of its fans. Oh - and that time they rioted at Dundee? Wonder if they mentioned the reputation? Celtic’s chief executive has apologised to Dundee FC after crowd trouble marred a clash between the sides at Dens Park. Tempers flared at Wednesday’s SPL match amid reports of widespread drunkenness among the away support, including fans fighting between themselves and abusing staff.
