The Moonster Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Scott smith won't be a miss he didn't look in shape all season. That's a real shame but Scott only has himself to blame. He was excellent for us when Ian Murray first came in and was one of the first names we wanted signed up. He signed up and came back to pre-season having gained about 2 stone. I think he played 1 or 2 games and then couldn't get a game even when we were down to the bare bones (Murray playing our most effective midfielder at left back instead of Smith, which said everything). I don't know why Barr wasn't rated by Naysmith, he is the type of player that every team needs in midfield, but it looks as though Campbell is being moulded into the defensive midfielder ahead of him. Dickson is excellent but I wouldn't say he was the creative type more your battling, goal scoring number 10 type, sad he's gone. It appears that Naysmith was the only person that didn't rate him!!! All we need is Julen, Page, Stevie Campbell and Fash signed up as well and hopefully we can build a better team around them. Only doubtful about Julen to be honest. Wish Dickson could have stayed on but not surprised he left. I am surprised he's signed for the Binos however.
