Beachcomber Posted September 23, 2023 Share Posted September 23, 2023 What an absolute gang Spartans are, time wasting from the 30th minute and falling over and half the team screaming at the ref for a foul whenever you go near them. Onto the game and after a reasonable start we conceded and disappear. Credit to the players, after we went down 2-0 it looked curtains but they played some decent stuff in the 2nd. It was obvious we needed to make changes in the 2nd half but he waits far too long and the damage is done. We have a good pool of players and plenty young guys coming through. How far have we fallen ? Darren Young was able to recruit some class players, Watson, Agnew , Meggat , Davidson , Dowds, Murdoch etc . Look at us now ,on the same budget. We are miles off it- the Board to blame? This forum also reflects the lack of interest in our club.
