Ad Lib
Looks in good nick! Nice wee motor....get out in it with the top down whilst you can! Hoping to make the most of it once we get it through the MOT (target early to mid August). Going to take a short break at the start of September to get some use out of it when I stop working.

Honest Saints Fan
Rosenborg winning 9-3 on aggregate means I am off to Norway on Wednesday. Booked my flights a couple weeks ago and they are now £170 more than what I paid.

I might go to the home game if there are spare tickets.

MONKMAN
Have you priced hotels? They wont be cheap, most are saying it will be carnival prices, your looking at $300-10000 a night Looked at renting an apartment. Can get a 1 bedroom, sleeps 4 for just over £100 a night for the first 2 weeks of the World Cup. That's right in ipanema, about 400m from the beach. Looking to get booked up in the next month or so, as I'd imagine the prices will rocket once teams start qualifying. Flights alone out of Germany are into the thousands of euros

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Exam result tonight means that I'm going to be a fully qualified actuary! What were the odds on that happening?
Granny Danger
Exam result tonight means that I'm going to be a fully qualified actuary! Well done. I once heard an actuary being described as being someone who found accountancy too exciting.
true_rover
What were the odds on that happening? Apparently shorter than I thought! Well done. I once heard an actuary being described as being someone who found accountancy too exciting. Well there is the story of the outgoing actuary who looks at your shoes when talking to you...
