topcat(The most tip top)
We're into the 16th Over so Oman can be sure of finishing above Hong Kong With Scotland 97/2 they should be able to accelerate from here and Whoosh! 11 balls off the 16th over

topcat(The most tip top)
Ireland won the toss and set a massive target of 211/6 Scotland started not too badly but suddenly went from 74/2 in the 9th over to 88/4 in the 11th Ireland didn't let them away with that and bowled Scotland out for 113 in 15.1 overs
Jacksgranda
I was only half listening but I thought I heard on the radio that Ireland "collapsed". What match would that have been? (I suppose I could google it myself, but don't want to steal tc's thunder - he's been very good at updating this thread - on cricket matters, anyway.)

As an Aberdonian resident of Ireland you were going to have a team in the final either way. The tournament ended up as it began with Ireland facing Afghanistan But while Ireland ran Afghanistan close first time out Ireland did collapse in the final. Bowled out for 71 Afghanistan had that chased down inside 8 overs

Not to worry the kind of people who read this thread aren't going to get hung up on a minor detail like that
Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo
Bump. Season starts again. Too fucking cold. And wet. My team yesterday contained 2 former Scotland internationals and we were up against 8 men. Needless to say Lanarkshire's finest 2nd XI won comfortably. Scottish Cricket is dying on its arse.

If the European Convention on Human Rights gets ditched as Theresa May is planning on doing post-Brexit but the SNP and others will block at Holyrood in a Scots Law context there would be zero problem legally with banning Orange walks on public order grounds. Ironically the LOL is a lot keener on Theresa than they are on Nicola, because they see the late 17th century as being pivotal where liberties are concerned.
