Thomas Running, one time station master at Freuchie station, died while sweeping leaves off the track to keep the trains running. Ironically, they were the right kind of leaves and he was clipped by the 21.45 train. He's buried where they found him.

Touched by his story, the Dave Clarke Five wrote a hit song about his funeral.

Luton-based easyJet's orange branding was based on Luton Town's shirt colours.

Nonsense.  The company owner once spoke about the time his parents took him on a memorable trip to Glasgow where he went around and around and around and around on the Glasgow Underground until he got really dizzy and had to stop.

The planes are a homage to that childhood memory that he has never forgotten.

In a surprise move, Suella Braverman has admitted her political posturing and ranting has been misguided and as from Friday is joining a Carmelite convent where she will be in charge of the organic garden.

I don't think she'll have much success in gardening. Pretty sure I've heard multiple people calling her a despicable, useless hoe'er.

"In early 2001, Otis the Aardvark was contacted by Guns N' Roses leader Axl Rose, to contribute a spoken word piece for an as yet unreleased song from the Chinese Democracy sessions. He spoke of getting on well with their avant-garde guitarist Buckethead."

"At times during his BBC heyday, Otis' behaviour drew the ire of the British tabloid press. His friendships with East 17 frontman Brian Harvey and controversial former TV host John Leslie were criticised as being inappropriate for someone working in children's entertainment."

Otis is a little known fan of soul music, owning extensive discographies from John Lee Hooker and Otis Redding (from whom his stage name was inspired). He is also an accomplished jazz bassoonist, striking an unlikely friendship with the late Jeff Beck following a chance meeting on the Jools Holland show. The pair were reportedly working on an ambient fusion project shortly before Beck's passing.

Otis once narrowly avoided prosecution when it was alleged that he took a Chomp and a Curly Wurly without paying, from RS McColl in Rosyth in 2008. He explained that it was a simple lack of concentration and returned to the shop after being pulled over by Fife Constabulary.
