RCR
Any of you guys pre-order the album? You'll get first dibs on tickets if you did. (Edit - just as AirdrieGuy mentioned) I have. They're playing a music festival in Adelaide in Jan, so fingers crossed for a side show.
Shengus Khan
Pre-ordered album just arrived via Mr Postie half an hour ago . Reflektors and start of season 4 of Boardwalk Empire should equal a fine day. Just need United to spoil things now!
Broken Algorithms
I'll be trying to looking into getting tickets for that one! Should be a brilliant couple of gigs!

AirdrieGuy
Anyone else get tickets in the pre-sale this morning? I got two for the 15th. Edited October 30, 2013 by AirdrieGuy
Shengus Khan
Anyone else get tickets in the pre-sale this morning? I got two for the 15th. Yeah Going on the 15th as well. Looking forward to it. The National on the 9th and Arcade Fire the week after. That's pretty much as good as it gets for me gig wise. Been listening to the album a lot recently and I think it's a right good solid 7.5 out of 10. There are a couple of tracks that sound straight out of The Clash's Sandinista to my ears and also some cracking bass lines. Joan of Arc is probably my favourite track at the minute but it will be something different tomorrow.
Broken Algorithms
Tried to get tickets for the Saturday show at the Barras. Tried refreshing a few minutes before, by 09:01 they'd already sold out. Had myself and two others both trying at our work, and none of us have tickets!
mynameisearl
Got tickets for the Friday night That sold out fast! I was constantly refreshing the page from 8.50 and when the "We are experiencing high demand" page came up my heart sunk a bit but had them booked by 9.03. Cannot wait!
Bert Raccoon
Two tickets booked for the Saturday. Should be excellent!
Broken Algorithms
Touts on ebay now selling the tickets for £250 for Saturday. Grim stuff!
DeadStar
Two tickets for them on the Friday, then Frightened Rabbit on the Saturday, great weekend of gigs.
tigerton
Tried to get tickets for the Saturday show at the Barras. Tried refreshing a few minutes before, by 09:01 they'd already sold out. Had myself and two others both trying at our work, and none of us have tickets! I was the exact same. Really gutted. I have Vampire Weekend on the Friday and Frightened Rabbit Saturday, but I'd have swapped either for this
NathanQP
What do they mean by formal atire?
vikingTON
Wish I could have got tickets, but between Vampire Weekend on Friday and Dumfries away on Saturday it was a goner. Clearly a rare great weekend of gigs in Glasgow happening. Just hope they do a festival tour next summer: the new album is a creditable 8/10 compared to Funeral's 10/10.

DomDom
Arcade Fire album has grown on me to the point where it's even better than "Funeral". Astonishing piece of work. It's a band at the very peak of their powers.

paranoid android
Arcade Fire are a band that I feel I should probably like. Roddy Hart played three or four tracks from their new album on his Radio Scotland show last week, but they didn't really grab me. Where's the best place to start with Arcade Fire?
