Different polling will measure things slightly differently so are not directly comparable.Its the trend in the same poll that gives you the most information. And if different polls are giving different results then working out what the differences are in those polls methodology can give useful information about why they are different. Polls do not tell you what an election result would be if held right now. They indicate trends.
