1320Lichtie
How many teams have their ground outside the town in Scotland? I can only think of Falkirk, St. Johnstone and soon Aberdeen. Clyde could probably qualify
pub car king
Luton are finally getting a new ground which will be slap bang in the town centre along from the train station.

Only one David Marsh
Clyde could probably qualify When the stadium was first built it was meant to have a retail park and a cinema in the land around it that never happened so it ended up with no amenities close to it apart from broadwood farm.
thisGRAEME
Well are pretty much forced to given the price of land. Yes and no. Take a swatch at any Hampden related thread and there are scores of melts suggesting we stick a national stadium just off the motorway in Stirling/Edinburgh/some ring road somewhere.
cowdenbeath
Queen of he South play across the River Nith in Maxwelltown. Still only a short walk from the town centre though.
Rab B Nesbit
I didn't realise this new Main Stand at Liverpool was quite as big ... -

Ross.
Grasshoppers and FC Zürich look as though they have finally been given permission to build their new ground. Looks a bit generic and boxy, as all new Swiss grounds seem to. Only going to hold 18500, which seems a little small to me, and is expected to cost around £350m, though that does include construction of the two tower blocks over looking the ground which they hope will generate long term income and eventually go some way towards covering the financing. For Grasshoppers fans it'll be a return to the site of their old stadium, Hardturm, as this is being built on the land that the old ground was situated on. Not overly impressed with it, but it's a massive improvement on the Letzigrund which is a fucking awful place to watch football.

Rab B Nesbit
Everton have added a new 'box' to the corner of Goodison. Solely to block out the view from inside of the new Main Stand along the road at Anfield.

7-2
They've probably sold the lower area as £35 Restricted View seats.
Salvo Montalbano
That second tier is going to give an awful view. I take it that's the area away fans and the cheap local tickets they promised will be in?
