badgerthewitness
Is there a chance some debris could eventually end up on the shores of WA? If so, how many weeks/months would it take for the currents to carry buoyant items such a distance?

ICTJohnboy
We are not talking about English, of course in English it would be stupid as your trying to make it sound. But in Chinese, ma is used to signify a question when speaking. As in 'Chi fan le ma' Take away the le particle and ma its no longer a question (nor much else). You obviously speak Chinese and are really trying to be pedantic. The question mark is a western introduction and if someone was speaking they would say the ma particle. If you interpet '?' to mean 'ma' in modern chinese, I have never come across that, but thats not to say its not the case. Regardless, if you want to go into the throws of Mandarin/Cantonese or anything else, maybe its for another thread not this one. Regardless the original OP's quote was rubbish. Some of the reports from the Sunday tabloids - similar to this one : http://news.sky.com/story/1224215/malaysia-airlines-investigates-missing-co-pilot Might make you wonder if cunnilingus is the preferred language in Malaysian Airlines cockpits.
Jacksgranda
Don't think you're allowed to say that in this thread. You wouldn't post that if Prince Philip said it.
welshbairn
You wouldn't post that if Prince Philip said it. Prince Philip was mentioned in despatches for his valiant efforts in WW2 during the Battle of Crete, when he shone a torch at the enemy. He's entitled to a bit of geriatric leniency. You sir, although a Grandad, are not. So there. Edited March 23, 2014 by welshbairn
Big Gus
So the photos released of those 2 guys on stolen passports contains badly Photoshopped legs. The plot thickens.

jagfox
We deeply regret that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board have survived..we must now accept all evidence suggests the plane went down in the Southern Indian Ocean.

chomp my root
That's the Chinese and aussie authorities doing press conferences on debris but still nothing concrete. To be fair, planes aren't made of concrete and even if they were it would sink
