Gallagher looking like he will be a regualr this season , cant wait see Byrson in there as well and Leigh at left back Like the look of Hedges all positives with new signings ., Regards Scott wright i can see going out in loan . Dons_1988 Posted July 12, 2019 Share Posted July 12, 2019 I really enjoyed that last night. Thought for a first outing we looked full of energy. That tie could and really should be out of sight. Still players to come in like Bryson, the early signs are promising. The brain fart at the end is a slight concern and has made for an uncomfortable trip over there. I think they are shite though so we really shouldn’t be fearing it. Beautiful finish from McGinn btw, going back to the discussion in here the other day about him. He will be one of the first names on the teamsheet if he keeps that up and stays fit. Hedges was also very good. Gallagher was very lively, especially in the second half, although maybe lacked a little bit of quality with the ball at times. Certainly enough to think that we have a useful player, but I'd wait to see how he shapes up against better opposition before getting too carried away. He could certainly be an asset when games become stretched and opposition defenders are tired. Wright didn't fully grasp his chance for me, again. An opportunity against poor opposition to show what he has to offer other than fancy moments here and there, but didn't feel there was enough substance to his play. Dom Ball would have given more balance to that team in place of Wright and given Ferguson a bit more scope to get forward. i thought we were powder off the ball at times but quite slick with the ball. obviously Leigh and Bryson improve that team although Considine was fine and put a sublime left foot cross in first half which should have led to a goal. what happens if Logan’s our though?
