HarleyQuinn
Declan Gallagher and Leigh Griffiths next?
Illgresi
No doubt a fit, motivated Griffiths would be a brilliant asset. The problem is, how many players can we say that sort of thing about in our team already; he'd be great if he was fit, he'd be great if he was consistent...etc.

Brown and Celtic came out and publicly backed Tonev even after he was banned. They publicly called Logan a liar and the Celtic fans lapped it up and continued to abuse him for years. This is the exact same method Slavia are using with there player and yet it's socially accepted in Scotland that they are crazy for it. I can accept Brown at the club if they come out and apologises for what happened the same way Henderson and Carragher have come out and apologized for the way they handled the Suarez/Evra situation. This is pretty much my view on things.

At Aberdeen he likely would be. If we can afford him and he is willing to come, we aren't in a position to turn down that sort of quality.
HarleyQuinn
We need 3 strikers. Bruce Anderson appears to be one of them. I'd welcome Marley Watkins back and I'd take Leigh Griffiths (if we can get him fit). Two centre backs. Doubtful but I hope Hoban stays. Declan Gallagher would be an improvement on Devlin and Taylor (POTY). A left back. McKenzie showed promise last week. Hayes has been poor for a while. Julien Serrano has always looked impressive. A right back. Possible return of Ronnie Hernandez (His loan ends in January though)? Stephen O'Donnell? I've heard the rumours he and his wife aren't fans of Aberdeen. At least one winger (hopefully two). McLennan and Kennedy haven't been terribly great for a while now. We are midfield heavy. We already have Scott Brown, McCrorie, Ferguson, Dean Campbell and McGeough. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw a few players moving on in the form of McGeough, Ojo and possibly Kennedy. Glass may want to loan a number of Atlanta 2 players and we may see another Hernandez type signing. He really needs to reassign the captaincy to someone not the goalie.
Leith Green
22 minutes ago, HarleyQuinn said: I'd take Leigh Griffiths (if we can get him fit). On his fitness - Current season he has played 656 minutes of league football, last season 879, season before 571. For context, some Hibs fans were concerned about Jamie Murphy (injury prone, too old etc etc)............and, tbf he has missed a few matches to injury and those v Rangers - but has already played over 1200 minutes for us. I love sparky, but that is not great reading especially for what will be a (very) sizeable salary.
Melanius Mullarkey
If he Simmies Jack at Pittodrie at some point then I think fans might take to him a bit tbh.
Dons_1988
On Gallagher, clearly a capable defender but is no one else put off by the way its ending at Motherwell for him? Seems to be acting the c**t a bit.

He'll likely want a decent contract as this is his last real chance at making decent money. Would I take him on a similar wage to Ash? Yes. Is he twice as good as Ash Taylor? Probably not.

Possibly, I'd like to think if it became a bidding war with other clubs we wouldn't shoot our load to get him.

Guest Bob Mahelp
Griffiths is undoubtedly the most talented Scottish striker in the country. However, as he's proven time and time again, he's mentally weak. A kind of slightly improved version of Riordan and O'Connor, but still someone who has massively under-achieved. For that reason, it's a big, fat No from me. Let him go back to his comfort blanket at Hibs where he can cuddle up with his mates. If we've money to pay Griffith's (probably) fairly substantial wages, I think we should spend it on someone else. On Scott Brown, I can't see him playing a lot of 90 minutes, he'll probably be brought on in the last 20 odd minutes to shore things up/kick shite out of the opposition. Alternatively he'll start and be taken off after 20 minutes having been booked and crippled the opposition's playmaker. Yep, you can imagine Cormack coming over all Stewart Donald signing Will Grigg on the last day of the transfer window in STID.

Hahaha not seen it but did read about that in The Athletic. Basically Jack Ross didn't think he was worth more than £1m. Chairman was determined to land him and paid something wild. Grigg flopped badly.
Golden Gordon
Pretty much it. I fear paying Hollywood prices for Scottish teeth. But if Atalanta are picking up the tab...
HarleyQuinn
I think Cormack's primary backing will be signing the two coaches Glass wanted - Scott Brown and Allan Russell. They won't be cheap. We may even see a few Atlanta 2 players arriving on loan. Aberdeen will probably try and share resources with Atlanta to help us through this pandemic. I genuinely don't think we'll make that many signings. Despite a large amount of deadwood set to leave at the end of the season we will still have a decent nucleus to the squad (McCrorie, Campbell, Fergie, Lewis, McLennan etc). Declan Gallagher and a decent forward might sign but apart from that I think the replacements will come in the form of promoting youth players. Bruce Anderson has also been offered a new contract. I hope I'm wrong.

I also hope he can back up his claims about player development and bring some of the young players on. Bit harsh on Anderson though, it seemed he pissed on his chips with McInnes because of the Covid-8 thing and was frozen out, going by his comments on feeling wanted at Hamilton.
