Brown comments are a joke. Makes him sound like some kind of killing machine (which probably appeals to him) rather than a guy that basically commits persistant fouling that refs for some reason ignore mostly.

I'm 50/50 on this. I don't think Brown goes out to be an animal, he's more like one of they mentally disabled kids who doesn't know that he's  hurting the normal ones.

Browns a complete thug. Wotherspoon absolutely done him with a nutmeg a few years back, and for the rest of the match Brown just went charging into him late with his elbows or with kicks, didn't even get booked. An absolute waste of a career.

What a dreadful decision not to join Stoke or Hull or something...

7 league titles, 5 league cups, 3 Scottish cups, 69 Champions League appearances.

He's just a higher level Rory McAlister, he'll likely regret not giving the EPL go once he's retired.

Yes. Not in terms of style, but in terms of career choices.

Arrant nonsense, but whatevs.

Journos and the English get slated for talking our game down but no-one’s worse for it than some of the game’s followers.

Brown is more like a Roy Aitken. Guy that won a lot (I assume) and got capped because of who he played for, but will only be remembered in 25 years for kicking people - because that's literally all he did.

He (along with Ntcham) utterly dominated the game on Tuesday. And playing for a mediocre English team has never been a bar to being capped in the modern era, surely you are aware of this?

Mediocre by the standards of EPL/ Champs League fitba. Big fish in a wee pond.

Can mind him pushing Neymar, IIRC, in one CL tie. Embarrassing - class against the classless and clueless.

Do a Google with Scott Brown together with elbow, push, kick etc and you get pages of examples.

Depends what you mean by class.  Neymar is a phenomenal footballer but he is to class what diabetes is to insulin.
