AlanCamelonfan
I was expecting yous to have a stronghold on the game and it didn't happen.
macintosh
We have`nt had a stronghold on many recent games Alan, we have gone a goal down in four of our last five matches which is a wee bit concerning. Did`nt show any urgency against Armadale till we went 2-0 down, eventually losing out 2-1. Showed character to win away at Mussy where we were unlucky to go a goal down but deserved to win in the end. We lacked a cutting edge against the Haws although we did well to dig that one out by gaining a couple of breaks in the box. Won ugly again at Bonnyrigg in a scrappy affair. Lacked a cutting edge for the most part at your place again yesterday so no complaints from a Kelty fans perspective at the result, you matched us man for man. So we`ve no been great of late but at the stage we are at in the season taking 9pts from 12 in the league whilst carrying a raft of injuries and niggles, is no bad going in the grand scheme of things. macintosh
Kelty Hearts Goal of the season competition is up and running on the club website. Dont bother with twitter or facebook so wont be able to vote. My fav goal though is Cargi`s v Newtongrange Star at Central Park, good build up by the lads and a piece of breathtaking play by our top marksman to take the ball down and finish as he did in a couple of touches. On a different tangent, If anyone has watched (Soccer Am) on Sky Sports in the past, they used to run a competition called `The Third Eye`. It was basically amusing shots from the stands as fans reacted in different ways to what was happening on the pitch, viewers would send them in, the funniest from those assembled each week won a prize. No watched Soccer Am for a while now so no sure if they still run it? There is a real prize winning contender amongst the Kelty goals if they did however, see if you can spot it. youtu.be/PerKCkeQSBI
macintosh
Actually, having watched them again, Shaun Greig`s goal at Camelon was a really well worked team goal as well. Its a pity Nelly Mc Cabe`s goal was`nt caught on camera at Carnoustie as that was a brammer! We had trouble with the SD card that day.
