Fraser Fyvie
Why would we need Hibs fans to tell us how good Saints legend Liam Craig is? Bizarre. Bit of a minter if that joker is a club legend.
Jamie_B
Bit of a minter if that joker is a club legend. Not our fault Hibs is where good players go to turn shite. Something they have a long and not very glorious history of doing.
The Real Saints
Bit of a minter if that joker is a club legend. David Wotherspoon is also a decent player. As was Rowan Vine. For a club which has been performing better than Hibs during recent seasons. Feel free to draw your own conclusions if it makes you feel better. HibeeJibee
Why is there some wierd glowing effect going on here? Lens filters at Tannadice Innovative from the BBC apprentice. Tbf, I'll take that over what followed, namely filming over the manager's shoulder through the dugout glass and making the frame fuzzy...
YassinMoutaouakil
That Motherwell away support is pathetic. Its only across the motorway FFSWho wouldn't want to spend £22 watching two shit teams... in Hamilton?

Wotherspoon was generally a decent player for us, nothing against him. Since leaving Hibs, Rowan Vine has played for Morton and Welling United and is currently without a club, so not sure what your point is there. Liam Craig may have been good in his first spell at St Johnstone, but he's finished now. I could count on the fingers of one hand the number of good games that imposter had for us. An absolutely dreadful excuse of a football player.

Wouldn't you agree that it seems strange? Um, no. In hindsight it seems we signed them too late in their careers (thanks for that Pat Fenlon) as both players are clearly finished now. But you can pretend to believe the myth that Hibs ruin any decent player if it makes you feel better.
kerrdavidson95
Might be an hour late, but Connie is a wid, isn't she? This fashion of showing Rangers before all of the top flight games are finished has to stop Just the BBC's way of keeping in with Rangers support. There is simply no chance that both players were suddenly 'finished' immediately after leaving Saints, having performed well for a one of the better top-flight Scottish teams. I think you're blethering, m9.
The OP
Now now, what you taking about? ImageUploadedByPie & Bovril1442784142.397596.jpg The North stand holds 27,000 people and was fairly full. The main stand holds 8,000 and was almost entirely full, apart from the corner which is always near empty and the away section which was also nearly empty. The Celtic end holds 13,000 and was fairly full. The Rangers end was quiet and the top tier is shut, but the attendance was definitely 40,000+. What is ridiculous is Sportscene didn't show the disallowed goal to give us a second look.

What do you think the reason is, m7? Is it coz we rooin playerz?

There's a number of possible reasons for their failure. What do you think the reason is, m7? Is it coz we rooin playerz? At Hibs, Liam and Rowan were unfortunately surrounded by players who weren't as quick-thinking or tactically astute. They were always (at least) two steps ahead of their team-mates. There was a lack of communication. They simply weren't on the same page. That kind of experience can be demoralising for any footballer. Their development is hindered and can sometimes regress in these circumstances. It will take Liam a wee while to re-adjust to playing for a high-profile team again. Alan Stubbs
Saints fans must be a bit annoyed at Wright. Signing a player from a club that ruins everyone seems like an obviously terrible idea. Or maybe abstract psychobabble theories about Hibs don't come into it and it was just a terrible idea to sign Liam Craig this season because he's absolutely shite these days. The Grass Is Greener.
Using Rowan Vine to prove a point It never worked out for Craig at Hibs, that's just that. He's a trier but he's not very good, just an average player. Btw, we sure ruined Scott Allan.
Nizzy
When you try to claim your team is relevant but you support St Johnstone.... Mate, this is the Premiership board. You and your third-place Championship side are the dictionary definition of irrelevant here.
