Szamo's_Ammo
It is the day that most of Sportsound have been dreaming about for months: Hearts are back! Looking forward to this evening's offerings already.
DA Baracus
John Hughes reckons that Edinburgh City usually get circa 1000 fans every home game.

DA Baracus
Another belter from Hughes. Celtic seemingly win most games because they have a 'winning cultyur!'. Nothing to do with the massive disparity in resources. They didn't win against St Johnstone because they were able to bring on 5 quality players from the bench. No, it was the 'winning culture'.

pandarilla
I like Yogi but he talks some amount of pish.Pretty much this. You can tell he's a decent guy, and he does know his football (he's got a decent managerial record, with some obvious exceptions in there). But f**k me he should be nowhere near the radio or telly for punditry.

Szamo's_Ammo
Gordon Strachan and Alex McLeish shouting down the mic to each other was a real treat there. It's a shame it wasn't about the match which starts in half an hour.

Ric
I was just about to tune in, but (blissfully) forgot the OF were playing tomorrow, I can only imagine that will take up almost all the chat so I don't think I'll bother now.

DA Baracus
John Hughes is knowledgeable? Certainly not about Scottish football. I noted earlier that he thinks Edinburgh City get crowds of about 1000 for most home games. He now just rolled out the gem that "Scottish football needs all our top clubs in the SPL" in reference to Dundee United and Hearts. The anchor (McLeod I think?) then noted that all the 'top teams' hadn't been in the top league together for about a decade. Hmmmm...

I just figured that with over 7 billion currently alive and countless generations preceding ours, there are bound to have been some pretty thick people. Placing Hughes in the top 8 for instance however, would have felt too generous to him.

His thick accent also makes him an incredibly easy target.
