A nightmare scenario

Talking to a few mates last night it seems a lot of people are dreading an independent Scotland being in the EU but rUK withdrawing from the EU. The rationale being that rUK could then cap immigration from Scotland. Thoughts on this?

Why would immigrants only get to wear caps? This is just ridiculous, I feel for all the baldy c***s during winter!

btw drum & bass played loud enough, in the kitchen, drowns out most friends verbal diarrhea. FACT!

As Nick Ross would say "...and please, don't have nightmares." Ya root.

Aging population that will require serious numbers of immigrants to come in and work and prop up the state pension. Would be doing Scotland a favour if it meant keeping young, ambitious, hard working folk here and reduce our need to import wage slaves.

When your mates are having these conversations, what do you pipe up with? Do you actually say anything, or are your mates got the belters like:

Putin being the new Hitler?

Trident Missiles (in service in 1994) saving the lives of everyone in Britian during the Cold War (commonly agreed ending in 1991)

etc. etc. etc.

If they're worried why don't their just keep their British Citizenship - did no one think of that, and if not what the **** do they teach kids nowadays

It was just a thought; don't know the answer. Just wondered if the EU worked to one set of rules or policies and rUK went with another?

Suppose it would be a giggle finding out, eh?

I don't think there is anything to prevent that from happening but it would make things a good bit more complicated anyway. The CU won't be long term option IMO anyway.
