Hayshead2
So many negative people on this forum, mud slinging and talking the club down at every opportunity. Absolutely sick of the old fish wife gossip. STOP winging and get behind the club you supposedly support.

'Now I know you're all disappointed about last season, and the 10 game losing run we had to finish things off. I too was disappointed..... disappointed the season ended when it did, and we weren't able to achieve a new club record. However, I've managed to get my hands on highlights from the 2002-2003 season, and I've uploaded all of them to YouTube so we can all watch the full club record 11 game losing streak! You're welcome!' Yikes
Blawin a Hoolie
For all the hooligans at RR….gerritupye..! Good to know that the points we took off you helped knackered your season. Remembering the RR management teams “exuberance” on the pitch with their undeserved last minute winner at Gayfield…aye Karma’s a bit of a bitch. god bless Simon Murray.

It would typically be called Chinese whispers if it wasn’t true. Sadly several guys have not been paid and have an issue with it, hence why it’s with the PFA. But again to reiterate its not Chinese whispers when the info comes from the players themselves, several of them. 2. So we are on a public forum, but shouldn’t discuss things that are happening at the club? Yet you 1320 Lichtie comment on each and every post with your BS opinion and Chinese whispers, I’ve saw you slate players, at games you don’t even attend. Maybe if fannies like you didn’t comment on things you were not at, forums might be a better place. But your going to say, its a forum and you can say what you like right? And id agree with that statement if you were so clever enough to make it. Its a public forum and if people want to discuss why the club may or may not have payed someone wages due to them, they are free to do so. because it doesn’t suit your narrative in this instance, doesn’t mean it wont be discussed. You are by far the worst fan at the club in terms of negativity towards our own team, which does the club no favours

Speculating and getting into the semantics of player contracts? What on earth has any of that got to do with the support it’s absolutely none of our business. If a player has not read his contract how is that the fault of Arbroath? If Arbroath have done anything untoward then it will be dealt with by the PFA and through the correct channels. If a player did want paid right up until the June date then nothing would’ve changed. The weekly amount would’ve reduced a tiny amount over a 2 year period to cover the extra few weeks. Paying a player from the day he signs until the day he leaves seems like quite a normal and sensible thing for a club to do, that could be altered as above if player not happy. It is quite embarrassing for a player to be discussing stuff like this with supporters too and again everyone is just jumping on this and using it as a stick to beat the club with when they’ve no got a fkn scooby about what the contract looked like and when it’s absolutely none of the supporters business either. Embarrassing all round and instead of talking shite on here and spreading rumours on a public form it’s surely much better to just leave it to be dealt with correctly and properly and by the people actually involved. Arbroath Football Club are not this horrible club full of terrible people trying to do people over the place is full of good people and supporters who try to get things right and make good decisions for the benefit of the football club… as much as people on here will try to say the opposite If anyone has any issues get in touch with someone at the club for your own peace of mind.
ExiledLichtie
I'm happy to talk about the positives around the club, of which there are many, but that doesn't mean I'm going to ignore negatives.

But how do you even know it is a negative? This obviously is not a new thing and has not only started, the contract would’ve been signed two year ago. The June date was a thing before that too. Players have come and gone in that time and it’s never been an issue, it is an issue now because someone’s made it an issue. Whether that’s their fault or the clubs fault will quite rightly be determined by the PFA and resolved from there.

We will never know!! If the club have done anything wrong then they’ll have to rectify it, it would be very simple to do and make very little difference in the grand scheme of things. And you and anyone else can talk about whatever you like but nobody has seen any contract or been involved in any contract discussions - so it’s all just pure speculation that’s putting the club in a negative light for no reason whatsoever Good work

1320Lichtie
Alloa signed Miko on an extension. Exactly the kind of player we’re needing. Hopefully Jim got someone in mind Hopefully start to see some announcements in next week or 2 as well. I think pre season is starting 3 weeks tomorrow. I know others loved the idea of a trip to Wales or Ireland for a cup game. It was just never for me as it made this cup into too much of a gimmick. Especially as each season it seemed to chop and change how best to fit them in along with B Teams. Not to forget when they also had a couple of English National League sides join the fray. Glad they are looking to add more HL and LL teams to the competition instead as at the core of it this is a Scottish competition that has been going since 1990. But its damn right ridiculous that they have invited the top 5 teams from the HL (in cup on on merit) yet in the 4 of 6 (Albion Rovers, Cowdenbeath, Berwick and East Stirlingshire) from the LL are former SPFL teams that finished 9th, 10th, 13th and 14th (in cup not on merit). Cumbernauld Colts, Tranent, Civil Service Strollers and Linlithgow Rose all miss out (finished 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th) Next step - Get the B teams to f**k Edited May 27 by RedLichtie86
glasgowlichtie23
Regarding this contract nonsense that’s going on - if we’ve put a clause in that we’re stopping paying players after a certain date, it’s not our fault if said player fails to read the part in the contract saying this, and decides to sign.
