He’s been an incredible player for us over the years and it won’t be costing the club much to keep him on for another few months. If he’s getting bombed out like that after everything he’s done which is probably more than anyone other than Little and Linn then how does that look and how does that make the rest of the players feel... We’ve shown players loyalty and we’ve been repaid big time for that. That’s what we’re all about now and I don’t want that to change. Look at our players rallying around Dowds after he was treated a bit shit from Falkirk. Fans, coaches and board all appreciate how much the players have done for the club and Gav been a massive part of this journey so far. He’s barely played anyway Imagine he will potentially only get a handful of appearances. Maybe a game against Darvel But we should look after our players and we should definitely be looking after and keeping the Gavin Swankie’s around the place in the position we are in.
