A bit of a sweetener for the project and training pitches? 1 I think so. The curling thing has been something Dundee has been needing for a while so it's no small deal. The land costs for the council to extend onto that area would have been astronomically high relative to what the curling extension would be worth so us doing this deal is kind of the perfect solution to it. The crematorium isn't council owned but it has been an issue (that the city needs another one) that the council have been consulted about for a while so that also helps solve another problem that the council can put their name to. It seems that they've been working with the council for years on things and come up with something with so many different stakeholders and with benefits across the board to put forward a really powerful proposal. Anything like this always hits opposition and there are plenty of hurdles to come (for example, we've got to knock down a listed building) but they have been building a coalition of support for quite some time and it does look very strong. The only missing piece that would pretty much have the whole city behind it would be United's involvement. Rumours were that the council are very keen on this and other parties who don't necessarily hold power there (yet) were also in favour of the concept but Thompson wasn't. If they have boardroom change by the end of the season, I wouldn't be overly surprised to see them join as tenants (although probably getting stuffed a bit). Nice try again cunto, but we explained this to you at length before now - so if you still can't wrap your head around the "complexity" of an owner having two or more elements of their business being under different company names then I think its best if you just f**k off back to lurking in the bushes outside your nearest playpark

Fifespud
Our crematorium will be miles better than the Perth version and unlike Sainties we will own it. It'll be a comforting feeling knowing, as you rattle your last breath, that the club is going to benefit. What a way to go.

I want to get cremated with a big bag o' weed so if the winds blowing in the right direction the day I get toasted the car park might be a good place to stand

realmadrid
Cheers man, Don't suppose he said doing what? Thank you He's not said but I know he did a lot of the registration and regulations side of thing at Raith as well as a lot of the social media so it could be any of these roles. Does Dundee have a specialist in these areas?

Does Dundee have a specialist in these areas? I barely know enough tbh but I don't think we've got a registration and regs person. We did have a big change of how we did our new media too but I don't know if that wasn't just a reshuffle with the addition of some younger 'reporters' (rumps doesn't seem to post anymore but he'd know since he did the match reports on the website) I'm sure some of the more itk guys will be able to correct me tho! It'll be a comforting feeling knowing, as you rattle your last breath, that the club is going to benefit. What a way to go. Why would we want to own a crematorium? It's about a mile from McDiarmid Park anyway.Worth noting we're getting a training pitch built for us by the council, and they're paying for all of it.
K.T
I'm not up for being cremated. I'd like to be left under a tree that overlooks the North Sea with a bottle of water and a joint, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'll see if John Nelms will allow me to be buried under the penalty spot at Nou Campie.

Yawn yet again cunto - our owners will own it through dbph, much the same as Geoff Brown does through whatever company name he uses for your diddy mob... (farming fuckbags plc or whatever) Its just a case that that will be a different name to the company that owns the club... Hardly uncommon in the wider world of business and like that business world, our owners and directors (much like yours) will decide how much of the money they get back from the club and other investments that they choose to reinvest. Now as you've been told off you pop and don't come back til you understand the simple concept...
