DAFC
I for one welcome our 1980s flashback shite advert overlords. Just when you thought you had finally got that annoying jingle out of your head....

Christophe
Was it the Ariston(and on and on) adverts that had the skeleton on it? Scotch video tapes?

nsr
Bizarrely I was thinking about this advert a day or two ago for no reason whatsoever.

LongTimeLurker
All that sticks in the mind for me from the 80s is Kutiekura mildly medicated soaps and talcs and Dones back ache pills being mentioned ad nauseam on Radio Clyde. Then there was the really annoying Evening News (think anyway) jingle that went something like if you want to sell it 9 triple 1 it it's so easy it's cheap and it works. Pea and ham fae a chicken? Noo that's clever.
Ranaldo Bairn
Remember the Martin Plant Hire advert. Bit of a tongue twisted that one, used to enjoy it.
Bert Raccoon
I used to like the days when you went to the cinema and instead of an advert for Orange, it was an advert for the Indian restaurant round the corner.

Shandon Par
From the same era "For a Yugo go to Archers, Archers, Archers. For a Yugo go to Archers. We're the ones to trust". The tune has been stuck in my head for 30 years. Fortunately nobody on the internet has ever uploaded the ad anywhere.

DAFC
I used to like the days when you went to the cinema and instead of an advert for Orange, it was an advert for the Indian restaurant round the corner. It was always at a totally unacceptable volume or distorted too and features a loud click or bang. COME TO TASTE OF INDIA
