QPSAFalkirkFirm
50-50, No winning by a few hundred votes Does anyone know if there's provision for a recount if the result were to be this close? I would fear a Jimmy Bush scenario if it was this tight. If Facebook is a measure, and I'd trust that more than the Daily Record, the YES camp are miles ahead. Same with mumsnet and other 'people-led' polls where the government is less likely to tinker. 57-43 for YES. 88% turnout.
LongTimeLurker
Had 62:38 for No in an earlier thread but that was before Darling's inept debating performance. 54:46 for No with an 78% turnout. Think Yes would need to be a few points up at the moment to be on course to win, but think it's still potentially up for grabs especially if the Yes side is organised enough to get its vote out in disproportionate numbers. Wrong on so many counts. You think Darling's poor performance would equate to an 8% swing? Also if YES get more votes than NO how does that mean their vote is disproportionate? The fact that the two sides are neck and neck despite the media manipulation of the NO side and the lies being told by Bitter Together campaign is testimony to the intelligence of YES voters to see through the bullshit and the sole social media has had in countering the MSM. So you trust everything salmond says ?? if we vote yes it wont be long until salmond gets caught out for making promises he cant keep which would be mean he should be held accountable for lying in public offices to the voters of scotland. RedRob72
A fag paper between it, 50.5% No 49.5% Yes, Turnout 80%. Revised from 52-48 a couple of weeks back, but the lead BT campaign has been a f*kin shambles since then. I'm beginning to take seriously the comments other poster have made about you and crayons kev. I can't think of any lies Salmond has told but if I'm proven wrong it would be shocking. He would definitely be the first politician to have told a lie whilst holding 'public office'.
QPSAFalkirkFirm
Thought mumsnet was split as for facebook over the record why do you say that is it just through numbers or what page u go on ? Mumsnet was 48% YES and 41% NO with 11% DK. On FB; Official YES Scotland currently at more than 280k likes Official Better Together just under 197k likes Gap is widening daily/hourly. Close to half a million voters expressing their opinion - way more than the survey polls that the press rely on canvass. Also getting feedback about postal voters being harangued at the last minute by Labour "volunteers" coming to their houses to help them complete their vote and telling them " if you don't know then just vote no" which is actually written as a postscript on a recent letter signed by Joanne Lamont and posted to all. If you read of that kind of tactic in China or Russia you would be appalled and everyone shouting about "insults on democracy".
welshbairn
I've got a bet on Yes getting between 45 and 50 so i hope so. Me too, £50 at 10/3, but hoping to lose it to a narrow Yes victory. 52/
