I would like to see this too, but that would mean dropping Stokes, who has become something of a teachers pet & a Ronny favourite.

True, he seems to be a favourite. Stokes can be clinical at times but far too often he's floats about causing very little attacking threat in the box.

I'd like to see the two newbies together for a spell. Scepovic looked hungry mid-week and was in all the right places. Just a pity his finishing looked a bit rusty, a few goals should boost his confidence.

Stokes problem, even under Lennon is that his one good or exceptional performance is followed up by two or three stinkers, he certainly offers more all round to the side than Griffiths or the new arrival Scepovic but you deep down know that Griffiths is more of a natural finisher and possibly Scepovic if he gets a run of games but will there be as many chances created without him in the side?

Certainly it seems, barring injury Guidetti will start the non european games with any one from Stokes, Scepovic and Griffiths alongside him, none of whom appear to be the perfect package of link up play and goal threat
