Including the overblown warnings around here…we get stuff, but they take it so far that a lot of people just ignore it now. As for really bigger, Little Rock has that now, looks bad.
CityDave94
Could be an interesting next few days. I see from the data the Clyde Riviera had a few rumbles earlier on, same with out near Loch Lomand. Looked like brief heavy rain. Fantastic if anyone can get a photo of lightning in the next few days and put them up here. A moody stormy sunset would be just as good. Up here in Inverness we can see the smoke from a forest fire to the south at Daviot close near to the A9. Hasn't rained here since early May, we could do with a thundery downpour.
CityDave94
Enjoyed a couple of hours of thunder and lightning in Inverness but no rain. Saw one forked lightning. Now most action over to the east in Moray and to the north west around Ben Wyvis. Imagine the panic of these hillwalkers doing a rapid turn around as they were assenting the hill nope! nope! nope! Hardcore anyone that reached the top regardless. Dissapointing so far regarding the rest of Scotland, plenty of humidity but very little happening. A few showers popping up to the south east of Glasgow if that is any promise of evening storms for Lothian or Stirling/Falkirk, maybe Perthshire.
