It's been suggested elsewhere that the Dundee game will be on 1st April. Although technically outside the international window, it's only by one day which would be very unusual.

As you say, I think the midweek of 14th/15th April is likely for Dundee. The weekend of the 17th could also be a possibility if Celtic go out of the cup, but that's perhaps too late for compiling the post-split fixtures.

Ian Crocker has just said that if Utd-Celtic stays all square, the replay will be the "midweek after next", which I think means Dundee v Celtic postponed again (the expression could mean 2 weeks on Wednesday, but that's an international break).

Christ knows when they'll play that, given it needs to be pre-split as it stands.

I'd have thought the more logical date for the replay would be 21st March, with the Celtic v Utd league game postponed until after the split.

I just assumed the replay would be this Wednesday or Thursday.

Infact, if they knew the replay was down for a week on Wednesday - why wasn't Dundee v Celtic scheduled for this Wednesday?

Exactly. All parties will be sitting inactive this midweek despite Celtic now officially having no free dates for the Dundee game. Dundee v Celtic should have been announced for this midweek as soon as Celtic went out of Europe.

I suppose they could put Dundee v Celtic on Easter Monday, but that would mean Celtic playing Fri-Mon-Wed and Dundee playing Sat-Mon-Wed.

It seems to me inexplicable why when Celtic had still so many games to play they allowed the midweeks either side of the LC SF to go unused and particularly the coming midweek. Just a waste of dates.

If the authorities had any sense (stop sniggering at the back) they'd schedule the replay for Saturday 21st March, postponing the league game between the sides until after the split when there's no time pressure.

Having it then also means it can be televised, keeping Sky happy.

There could seem to be several possible options.

Solution #1 play the replay this Wednesday/Thursday. Problem with that is presumably that no-one in either club has been expecting this, so they and the police and so on will probably say it's too short notice.

Solution #2 play the replay on Saturday 21st March, as a special exception (albeit one caused by the unnecessary waste of dates including this coming midweek), and play Celtic v Dundee United in the Premiership after the split: it's highly unlikely Dundee Utd will near 7th.

Solution #3 press on with things as apparently laidout and squeeze Dundee v Celtic in somewhere.

If the authorities had any sense (stop sniggering at the back) they'd schedule the replay for Saturday 21st March, postponing the league game between the sides until after the split when there's no time pressure.

Having it then also means it can be televised, keeping Sky happy.

But thing is - they must have known everything we're discussing before they left this midweek empty, put Dundee v Celtic onto next midweek, and apparently told some people (e.g. Sky) the replay would replace Dundee v Celtic.

It's not as if something else happened yesterday or today which changed things after the event.
