sugna
Scary lack of composure from The Rangers. It's like the players don't want to be there. This is a very good point! When discussing how there's a slight majority of non-Gers fans over Gers fans, in the percentages of each who welcome King Davie, the effect on the players is sometimes overlooked. Most of them will have a similar perspective to the non-Gers fans - they are not viewing it through blue-tinted glesses. So it seems like a pretty fair bet that most of the unmotivated players will become demotivated players, if they have enough brains to understand that the most convicted tax criminal in Scottish sporting history has come in to save their potless club, a club phoenixed from the embers of a tax-afflicted ancestor club. If they see it in the factual way that the rest of the world does, they will know that there's now no possible footballing future career for them there. That's got to lengthen their odds for the play-offs. Still time to score more goals than they have NOMADs, maybe a soft penalty for old times' sake? ~~~
Anything less than 11-0 will be a failure. That said, I'm expecting the coronation of the King will give the team a boost and spur them on to a four or five nil victory. And I'd say morale must be very low at the opposition after their match last week. Failure it is
