Funky Nosejob
Out of interest if the moon had just decided to stop there are there any estimates as to how long we could survive without the sun?If the moon had just stopped, then the rotation of the earth would mean the sun would be back out in an hour or so. If the moon kept tracking the sun, then it would be easy enough to move somwhere outwith the shadow. Might cause some interesting tidal effects, however. There are areas of the arctic and antarctic that have months of constant darkness. There are also times in Scotland when it just feels like we don't see the sun for months on end. God is happy! The most pleasing thing of the whole day is I saw a nice show in Edinburgh.... but in London it was cloudy and they saw feck all!
