craigkillie
His chances of dislodging Scotland star Stephen O'Donnell from the team are exactly 0%, so I reckon the only time we'll see him will be in this group stage, barring an injury.
Thistle_do_nicely
checked the BBC updates for the league cup game you've got against the buddies and it claims Youssouf Mubtumbu is away, literally cant see it mentioned anywhere else? Had a quick check of the Killie website and twitter and there's no news items on it, plus he's still listed in the squad page. No great shock if its official now I suppose but if I'm reading that right he's back at WBA? craigkillie
His contract only ran until the end of last season, so there wasn't really anything to announce.

dumpweed
Thought Millen did well last night considering. One of our better players on the night. Not much to say about the rest.

Estragon
Watched it on BT, felt like a friendly tbhThe only ones not treating it like a friendly were the St Mirren fans - panda-monium! Good effort lads.

Not much to say about the rest. I disagree, I thought he was poor. The whole team, with the exception of Findlay, for me, were flat and rusty. Jones was disinterested, particularly in the second half. I've no doubt that a full strength, up to speed Killie team would be able to deal with that St Mirren team though.
NorthBank
And a full strength, up to speed St Mirren have nothing ro worry about against Killie.

We were in league winning form under Clarke before the split, taking more points than Celtic. We should be top 6 or thereabouts this season again. Friday night's game we had key players missing including the league's top scorer. We'll comfortably be better than St Mirren this season

We have only recruited 7 new players so far so were down to the bare bones on Friday night. Only 4 of the Championship winning team played on Friday. We had 4 fringe players from last season playing, 2 guys from English U23 teams and a new signing from a team that got relegated to the Championship. A make-shift team that were better than your established squad. Our team that starts the season will be pretty different from Friday night's. I was pretty surprised how poor Killie were as I thought they would maul us but saw nothing to worry us for the season ahead. Killie's bubble has burst methinks.
deadasdillinger
It was a dross game in which neither side played particularly well with one of the worst quality penalty shoot outs I've ever seen. Steve Clarke had said before the match it was coming too soon for us. The fact you're trying to read that much in to it is funny, but I suppose we'll soon see when the league season starts who fares the better.

For every sentence of the above, calm down. Not that we were any great shakes, but your left back aside, your team were entirely average.
