Andrew Neil on twitter going on about nicola sturgeons parents buying their council house!

I think he is a good interviewer and overall he gets stuck into all the parties equally but these last few weeks he seems to have a real bee in his bonnet about the snp.

He's an absolute raging Britnat who, as they all did, conducted himself disgracefully during indyref.

Are there any lib dem/tory supporters in the audience despite their leaders not being t here tonight?

Dimbleby said they were chosen by a polling company. I wonder which one.

He became editor of The Scotsman to try to torpedo the whole devolution thing, so he is a real hardcore true believer in the pre-1997 status quo and is very much not a fan of the SNP. Like Alan Cochrane of the Telegraph, basically, but with a triple digit IQ.

Good spot for the Unions from Leanne Wood there - something which, if Milliband had the balls to espouse, would allow him to retire after living at No. 10 for the next thirty years. Unfortunately, he probably doesn't know what they're for, other than funding his faux-Tory party.

Good post and good knowledge.

Slight tangent but think you touch on a good point. Devolution couldn't have been more successful and is so popular its not funny, if you polled people 95% would say it's been a good thing and only raging Britnats would be opposed. Yet every single WM party opposed it and fought against it for years and years.

Labour will tell you they gave you devolution, in reality Labour cheated us out of it in '79 and fought as hard against it as it possibly could. the Tories have opposed every single transfer of power there has ever been to Scotland too. They hate devolution.

He has done very well out of the status quo as a Murdoch acolyte member of the establishment
