H Wragg
Was thinking about this in the build up, there's nothing quite like cup final day at Hampden. Missed last year's at Parkhead, but was at the final at Ibrox years ago and it just wasn't anything like a cup final, either build-up on the day, around the stadium, or in the stadium. Thinking about it, the curved east and west stands really add to it for some reason. Perhaps just it's the whole history of the place, including the bowl shape. What final did United play at Ibrox? My mind's gone blank on that one.
1320Lichtie
Must be the only person in Sub-Saharan Africa sitting at home today, listening to the game, clicking the refresh button on the BBC coverage of the Scottish Cup Final, instead of attending one of the numerous English cup final parties. But with an Old Firm-free final, and a noisy Hampden, it's one of those days when you realise that Scottish football is f**king fantastic compared to that corporate guff down south. Good luck to both teams today!I was thinking that tiday, I fucking love scottish football, my 3 favourite football games in the past year, excluding Arbroath ones have beenHibs v Hamilton Celtic v ICT Rangers v Motherwell Wouldn't change it for the world, I'm completely non fussed over the FA cup final, bunch of millionaire celebrity c***s running about infront of 50k 'real' fans and 40k corporate c***s Pish Edited May 30, 2015 by 1320Lichtie
banana
Non-permanent. Hopefully. Just takes longer to scrub off otherwise.
Jacksgranda
Said it last year. It wasn't sour grapes, but the final just didn't seem like a proper Scottish Cup Final at Celtic Park. United lost - sounds like a proper Scottish Cup Final to me..
