You live in a No-voting hick town in the Borders. Hence why you feel the need to express mock outrage about the colour of football tops and flegs as compensation.

These are facts.

Facts?? Nope.

The Dumfries area voted "No" in the independence referendum. THAT is a fact. Singular.

Dumfries a "hick town"?  Opinion.

Alibi's thoughts and influences? Complete speculation on your part, and therefore about as far from factual is could be.

THOSE are the facts.

Always amusing how you are unable to back down or wind your neck in even when it's clear you are trying to defend the indefensible rather than concede that you got it wrong. Maybe you'll grow out of it someday.

Is there not some thing about youth players going down south for pennies on compensation? Whereas if he went to a Scottish club we'd be entitled to more?

Other way round. Far more likely to get a good compensation if he goes to England. FIFA rules come into play not domestic ones.

Who gives a toss about which way any particular town voted? Just weird.

Apparently there's some diddy out there who believes that it has a strong influence on whether somebody will like or dislike the look of a football strip.

Ridiculous, I know, but here we are.

^^^^Verge of tears  ^^^^ Idiot found    ^^^Insert your own cliche here.

Dumfries is not in the Borders.  It is in Dumfries and Galloway.  That is a fact.  There is even a clue in the name for you.  Thanks for playing anyway.

You can't expect mere facts to get in the way of idiocy?!?!?

Dumfries and Galloway are themselves in the Borders. Gutted for you.

Your knowledge of the geography of southern Scotland is inaccurate.  There is a small interface between the eastern end of Dumfries & Galloway and the border with Cumbria, but the area known as the Borders, both in local government area definition and in traditional demarcation definition, is further east/northeast.  Langholm arguably should be within the Borders region (they play rugby there) but it isn't, and the vast majority of D&G has no border with England.  On this matter, you are just plain wrong although I know you will never admit it of course.

Anywhere within fifty miles from England = the Borders. Not too difficult a concept to grasp tbh.

Thanks for playing anyway.
