To not have a keeper in place 6 days before is a fecking joke. Defence should be solid enough but where is the creativity and goals going to come from? Is Gus waiting for the right quality players to become available and not signing any old shite or is he trying to sign average players and even they are rejecting us? 15 players out and only 3 in at this stage is concerning. To put that into context, Adam Legzdins has played 15 games for us and has the same number of clean sheets. Calum Ferrie (who's signed for Queen's Park) kept 1 clean sheet in his 3 appearances last season compared to Hamilton's 1 in 13 appearances. Doesn't communicate with the defence at all and has them a complete nervous mess. Again, Conor Hazard kept 6 consecutive shut outs with the same defence the season before after Hamilton had 1 clean sheet in 8 games. He's got zero composure, can pull off the odd great save, but can equally chuck 3-4 in the net.
