Constantly getting involved in twitter spats due to the ridiculous arguments he tries to make and comes across as a very petty individual. Petty and ill-informed would be a great slogan for Sportsound, if only it hadn't been used already.

In the real world we ask people of that age how they are enjoying their retirement. Fine, thanks.

trainspotter
That's why I posted it. As a supposed sports journalist, Nevin should know this.

craigkillie
The mistake he made is nothing to do with humour though. He just forgot or didn't know that Ferguson managed the Shire.

Guest Moomintroll
Pat Nevin isn’t a sports journalist, and makes no pretence to be one. He is a little manipulative snake however & yes I am still bitter about him slithering away from Rugby Park.

Of course he had plenty of other jobs elsewhere beforehand.
deej
Quote The 22-year-old may have a surname that sounds like a bag of sweeties, but he was a tasty talent at Charlton Athletic, earning comparisons with Patrick Vieira and Dele Alli. Two completely different players.

wastecoatwilly
The good thing about last nights celtic transfer is the papers had already been printed. Being 12 to 14 hours behind gives them a full day to think of something negative to print tomorrow. Celtic should announce all signings at 11pm.
