Lex
This hawkeye live thing they mentioned. Does that mean every call is checked and they don’t have to challenge?Yep seems like it. Looks like there’s no line judges at the back of the court at all. Robots taking our jobs etc.

Left Back
Well that was straightforward. Don’t think he even played particularly well but the Argie simply had no answers.

Loki
First straight sets win in a slam since his hip fell apart in Wimbledon 17. I thought he was relatively good in that, a bit iffy on serve at times but the ball seemed to by flying long. He will be favourite in his next match, and hopefully he does a solid job on it, as he needs to have something energy wise if he is to face Berretini. Think that will be the end of the road for him, but he was starting to figure out his serve in Stuttgart before the unexpected injury on the chair.
Lex
Murray certainly played well and it turned out very straight forward. Cerundolo played like the 24 year old without a single win in a major tournament that he is. Murray should win the second round against the young American Nava who’s playing in his first ever major. Then it would probably be Berettini in the third round…
peasy23
To the surprise of nobody, Radacanu exits in the first round. Her ranking will now tank as the points she won last year drop off.Evans and Norrie off to good starts with straight sets wins.

I'm sure the Twitter trolls will be out in force as they'll never have heard of Cornet or have an understanding of how rankings work. She's currently sitting 80 in the live rankings and Harriet Dart will become British No.1 if she wins her next match. At least she'll finally be playing around her current level which should hopefully ease the expectation and pressure and allow her to experiment with her game more. If she can stay injury free I'm sure she'll be seeded again this time next year.

Chopping and changing coach so many times can't have helped either.

Lex
Murray loses a gruelling first set 7-5 in 1 hour 24 minutes. The last game in the set was about 15 minutes on his serve but he couldn’t get it to a tie break, amazing shot to win the set too.The young American is playing well and he’s certainly got the home crowd behind him now.

Left Back
That was a clusterfuck of a point but Murray get’s the break to edge ahead in the second.

Connor7
Game over. Much better from Murray in the fourth and fifth set. Tough match next against the big Italian.

Murray had solved the problem in the second set tbh. The boy was clinging on for much of the first then an unbelievable streak allowed him to nick the set. The 3rd and 4th was desperate hitting from a guy that was outgunned leading to all the unforced errors. You could see him applauding Andy at times when he knew he’d been outclassed.
Lex
Great win for Andy. That kid won’t be 200 in the world for long. Now for the real test, Berrettini. He needed four sets and two tie breaks to beat the unseeded Grenier today. Would be quite the upset if Andy was to do it, but why not.
