Loki
He has entered Nottingham as well. Schedule looking like Nottingham, Queens and then Wimbledon. Not convinced he’s retiring, I think if he knew it was going to be his swansong he wouldn’t have went to Rome. He said he was competitive with both Novak and Schwarzman on clay, certainly top five clay courters in the world. If he’s healthy he’ll be wanting Zverev or Medvedev in the first round of Wimbledon. Big match on centre court to open, and an opportunity to effectively become a top eight seed. And if he was to retire far better going out to a top seed fighting than meekly being routined by a jobber.
aDONisSheep
If he retires at Wimbledon, he'll be overshadowed by Federer, who has indicated that his body has had enough of the grind.
John Lambies Doos
If he retires at Wimbledon, he'll be overshadowed by Federer, who has indicated that his body has had enough of the grind. And quite rightly so in fairness.

peasy23
Osaka fined 15 grand for refusing to take part in any press conferences, she had already said she wouldn't be doing them. She cited the negative effect on mental health of having to face the press at times, especially immediately after defeats. Now all 4 grand slams have issued a joint statement pretty much telling her that if she doesn't do the press she will be kicked out and banned. https://www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/article/statement-from-grand-slam-tournaments-regarding-naomi-osaka
aDONisSheep
My favourite Thiem oot already! As for Osaka, if she's struggling mentally, then maybe she should take a break.

Whether she likes it or not it’s a part of her job. Djokovic had her telt last week as well.

Morgan is now debating his diagnosis with Prof Andrew 'Beef' Johnson and a large number of other Mental Health experts on Twitter. pandarilla
And now Osaka withdraws after threat of expulsion That's a massive story. They've called her bluff with the threat of expulsion and she's just trumped them. This could really backfire on the French open and the wta.

Bairnardo
Your always safe being on the opposite side of an issue from Novak Djokovic, but Piers Morgan certainly confirms it.The WTA telling someone that their mental health doesnt matter, and theres no wiggle room for a workaround that allows them to compete, in this day and age is a pure minter.

TheScarf
It's fairly common knowledge that Novak Djokovic is a fucking wanker. I'm surprised more people haven't said it publicly. Think only Kyrgios has gone public saying as much so far. Perhaps when he retires he'll get deservedly buried for his daft comments and stances.
TheScarf
When did Diego Schwartzman become good? He was a complete mid carder as far as I knew. A solid 2/3rd rounder at most at the slams.
