You certainly wouldn't put it past Djokovic winning it in five, he's done it from a similar position plenty of times before. He doesn't look like his head has quite gone yet though, but Djokovic certainly the favourite now. Lex Posted July 5, 2022 Share Posted July 5, 2022 To the surprise of no one, Djokovic is through in five sets. Even after Sinner went two sets up, Novak still seemed the favourite, weirdly. Nobody does the rope-a-dope hanging tough routine quite like him. His mental strength is unreal. Hard to see either Goffin or Norrie causing him any problems in the semi final and he will probably go on to win the title. Old cliche, but young Sinner will learn from that, he has been given a lesson in grand slam match play by the old master there.
