I had an interesting situation last night that I thought people should be aware of. I took up the Dafabet sign-up offer of a maximum £30 free bet for a £30 initial bet. I placed this on Brentford and laid it on Smarket for a small loss of 81p. Brentford lost and so I won on the exchange. Happy days. However shortly after I received an e-mail from them stating that under clause 25 of their t&c's I would no longer be given any form of free bet, ever.

Obviously I looked up clause 25 which basically stated they could do as they please without any justification or need to reconsider. A quick look on the PA forum shows a few others with similar fate.

Pretty disappointed as you could imagine so fired off an email stating that I could no accept their decision without reasonable justification and that "as a relatively new player to online gambling" [snigger] I was deeply disappointed by their decision, asked them to reconsider or close my account with immediate effect! accused them of having no intention of honouring their promotion and threatened a formal complaint to the gambling commission. All empty threats of course.

However this morning I had an email stating their decision had been reversed and bonus credited to my account. Which has been duly placed/laid on Man Utd tomorrow for a £20odd profit :)

Worth baring in mind for anyone going ahead with Dafabet offers.

£500-odd profit since Boxing Day.

Just completed that one completely problem free. Registered for 138.com earlier that's had a lot of bad feedback so wilkl be cautious there.

There seems to be quite a lot involved in the 365 bet and it looks like you need a fair whack to do it.

My questions for anyone who has completed it are

1) is it pretty much the same as the other bets just at a lot bigger money?

2) when its says you need £1000 in the bank does that mean you need £1000 in the exchange and then £200 on top of that too put into bet 365?

3) how much can you expect to make off the offer once you've completed it?

i cant do the 365 offer as im already a customer, but im guessing it would be very profitable

sign up, deposit 100 quid, get 100 quid bonus, you need to turn it over 3 times or whatever

now here im guessing you have two options,

option 1: bet the full 100 in one go on a long shot (dundee united in their next game for example), then lay the bet on the exchange, you'll need a good whack for this but it clears the bonus bet in one go

option 2: place numerous smaller wagers on any bets you like, say 3 bets a day, you'll need smaller laybets, but it will take longer to either lose the bonus or turn it over

i may be wrong slightly here, bit tipsy

It's £200 I'm sure and you need to make £800 worth of bets to claim the money if your bonus bet wins, really your hoping to lose both the initial £200 and then the bonus and you should get a lot in the exchange? Edited by Dazzle

yeah but it depends on how much you can afford to lay

covering a 200 quid bet on a longshot (high odds then) will require a substantial laybet

i may be wrong but if you "LOSE" £200 on B365 - you would only be left with real cash, thus withdrawable!

I seem to recall a reload at the World Cup, whereby £200 sounds like a lot but, when you are "turning over" that kind of money regularly it is easy to lose it - however, hopefully winning £200 / £250 from winning bets. As a mug-punter, you just try to have more winners than losers, but, inevitably there are losers along the way!

When you boys win money at a bookie instead of the exchange do you withdraw immediately so you can reinvest straight away? I seem to have money floating about everywhere just now.

Sometimes yes. Other times I've tried to mug bet some back to the exchange (obviously at a small loss)

I think a way I'll be working in future, if they are a bookie for reloads (Paddy, Hills, 365 and lads) then I'll mug bet with the winnings.

Other ones I'll withdraw

That's what I was thinking as well. If there's plenty of reloads from a company then it's better to try and mug money away from them, does it say anywhere on PA which sites don't really give reloads and I'll just withdraw from them just now?

same here, even if you leave a fiver in all bookie accounts and mug bet it at the weekend again, keeps the bookies sweet
