Anyone had trouble with their bank not liking them piling money into various different betting accounts?

Not sure why they'd take issue. What you do with your money is your business. As long as you're in the black and managing to pay DDs and credit card bills on time what can they say, really.

Beware though, PayPal do take issue with it and can ring-fence your account off for up to 6 months and sometimes permanently pending an investigation and 'high-risk gambling' so if you transfer directly from PayPal it could become an issue long term.

BetFair doing a deposit £10 and get £10 bonus scheme which only had to be wagered 5x to withdraw (most gambling sites are 30x and 40x wagering which just isn't worth it). These are one of the few things the site directs you to that aren't always (but sometimes are) risk free but have a high turnover potential and therefore carry a low risk of losing around 3-6 pounds....the site recommended playing Iron Man 2 slot as it has a very high turnover ratio (96%).

This bad boy drops around £15 in.

No, they're placed so the bookies see you making bets without using special offers.

Cheers, off and running with this.

Got the Mrs to agree to letting me use her name/account to make most of new offers. About £14 up after coral sign up. Got £10 casino bonus as well but waiting to sign up to profit accumulator to find best way of using it. Quite a lot of work for minimal gain so far but once I get more accounts open and quicker at doing the whole process hopefully see some good gains.

I've battere a few offers. Made about £150 so far.

Been fortunate that a lot of bets have won on the exchange so my betfair and smarkets accounts are healthy. No need to piss about transferring cash.

Aye that's going to be the biggest issue for me starting off. The slow process of moving or the tying up of funds. Edited by Jambo Stu

Well this has all ground to temporary halt. Was on betfred offer and had placed initial cash on Aberdeen game today, last night. They won't refund for 48hrs, meaning I've to wait till refund then further 48hr wait to get free bets. Might just bite the bullet and pay the £22.99

It's worth it. I'm £550 in profit after 3 and a bit weeks.

The more money you have available to outlay initially, the faster you'll make money.

How much of a betting and exchange bank have you got to start with Stu? The Coral and Betfred offers are really just to cut your teeth on to learn the process, and obviously make your first 40 odd quid profit as well. If you've got the cash to pay for the membership and still be able to progress with the offers then it's well worth cracking on with it.

I paid to join at beginning of December (I paid the 150 for the whole year as works out a lot cheaper in long run) and looking at my profit spreadsheet I'm sitting on just over £1,200 profit to date, and that's with not doing much at all over the xmas and new year period.

Done most of the sign up offers now, so am getting in about the reload offers. From what I've done so far I think I'll be able to maintain £1,000+ per month without too much bother from the reload offers alone.

£550 profit in 3 weeks is good going dj. Spot on about having more money to start with being helpful, the first week was slow for me but once I had the profit from the initial offers all hitting my exchange account then getting through 2-3 sign up offers a day was a doddle. That's when the profits started mounting up really quickly.

Got about £100ish to get me started plus anything I'm making I'm reinvesting. Paid the sub so it's all systems go. Betfred refunded my stake as well so just waiting for their free bet to come through.

I already feel it's quelling my urge to gamble as well, especially on football. Why throw money away when your on to a sure thing?

How much did you guys outlay to get off and running?

I had a wee savings stash of around 700, I bundled 500 in around a week ago to speed things up. I also started a book (a physical book) rather than a spreadsheet as I find it easier to track, personally. You'll definitely need something though to keep track. I have money floating around in about 8 bookies at the moment and it's easy to lose sight of one. Even if it's only 20-30 sitting in one you rarely use.

I started with around £250 in my exchange account and £100 for bookies. I was lucky in the beginning because I only had a couple of bets that won with the bookies so got through the offers quite quickly. Once you get to the £500+ profit mark it's a breeze and you can get through multiple offers at once no problem, that's when the profits start racking up.

I didn't withdraw any money until I got my exchange account to the £1,000 mark. Now I just withdraw everything that I make every day. There's no reason why you can't withdraw before then, and also successfully do it with a lot less than £1,000 in your exchange going forward, but I prefer having a bit more in there in case a load of big reloads pop up on the same day.

There's no rush though, just build at whatever pace you are comfortable with. Matched betting isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Apologies if this seems stupid, but how do you get around the free bet winning ls needing to be turned over a number of times before withdrawing it

In an ideal scenario you'll "lose" the bookie bet therefor win at the exchange, negating the need to roll over the bonus at the bookies, although if the bookie back bet wins, just keep putting it on bets at the bookies, which you will have matched at the exchange until either you complete the rollover requirements, or eventually win at the exchange.

Would that not eventually cost a small fortune on betfair given some of the free offers require you ti turn them over 5 or 6 times

I've done it slightly differently in that I've gone through the beginner signups (just Ladbrokes Exchange to do now) and now doing CH4 racing.

It's going to be different for everyone, I've had a particularly successful day and made £82 profit. The real acid test for me will be managing to juggle this with work as I do shifts that aren't that consistent. I've set myself an average daily profit in my head though of what I'd like to achieve. I feel around £18 a day isn't too out there. At that rate I'd be making over £6.5k a year tax free.

no, as the rollover bet is matched at betfair, hence they cancell each other out.

eta, you wil need a decent bit of money in betfair if you are unlucky enough to have a winning streak at the bookies, but it dosent cost you as what you "lose" on the exchange, you "win" at the bookies.
