NJ2
Currently listening to the Who Are Ya? podcast, where the presenters visit a club for a day to find out about them (though heavily weighted to English fitba), and the excellent Ear Hustle from inmates in San Quentin jail. Ear Hustle is great. I’ve got the two most recent episodes still to listen to but will do so soon.

Shandon Par
Not listened to them yet but there are four episodes of The Butterfly Effect, with Jon Ronson. He explores the world of porn - a bit like Louis Theroux but without the raised eyebrow. He meets Fabian Thylmann (Pornhub creator and hated by the US porn industry), goes to porn sets in California and looks at how porn impacts the lives of those in the industry and how it impacts their families etc.

I remember Melvyn Bragg heads gone raging at a female historian who claimed the Industrial Revolution happened in Britain because of easy access to coal instead of canny Yorkshiremen tinkering in sheds. There is quite a fraught one on the French Revolution with a bit of a falling out.
MSU
Adam Buxton’s latest guest is Bob Mortimer and, predictably enough, is the best present you can give your ears this week. Edited May 2, 2018 by MSU

ArabGaz
Quickly Kevin will he score is my favourite one for now I started listening to this a couple of weeks back and although quite enjoyable, one of the boys has an incredibly annoying laugh and he likes to let us hear it every bloody minute.Nessun Dorma is a much better podcast for 80’s and 90’s football.
welshbairn
This is one that sounds like a pilot for a radio 4 comedy spoof. It's genuinely about a guy trying to run a marathon in every country in the world to raise money for prostate cancer; against it I mean. If you look into his flights he must be spending well over a million on his mission to hopefully raise £250,000, of which he's raised £16,000 so far from justgiving. Tbf he's covered all of North, Central and South America so far, including jaunts to North Korea and most if not all the Caribbean, and that's just from January. He got a bit of bad toothache and got bitten by a dog in North Africa so he's back in Blighty at the moment. They don't have dentists or tests for rabies out there apparently. https://runningtheworld196.podbean.com/e/episode-16-week-14/ https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/runningtheworld https://nickbutterrunning.com/2018/01/20/2-weeks-of-running-the-world-cuba-forgotten-visas-drones-cars-wifi-emotions-and-relax/ https://runningtheworld196.podbean.com/ Edited May 7, 2018 by welshbairn
