Sherrif John Bunnell
It's an utter disgrace that man of the people Dominic Cummings isn't allowed to chair every Commons committee.

Dunning1874
There is no greater illustration of the fact that a complete lack of talent, intelligence and any degree of competence is no impediment to rising through the ranks of the Conservative Party than Chris Grayling's career. Everything he touches turns to shit and everyone knows this; why did they think it was a good idea to try to force his leadership onto the committee in the first place? They could have indicated a preference for a faceless nobody in the hope they'd suppress the report and that would have had little chance of a successful cross party attempt to stop it, but Grayling's record of colossal failure made this possible.

What they want is dependence on a larger electorate outside Scotland that will accord with their thinking. Something like a third of Yes voters also voted Leave. So a fair chunk of people do.

And yet I’ve never encountered any Scottish socialists who have been so enthused by the recent direction of Brexit Britain that they’ve been won over by the UK. Nor have I ever found anyone who thinks that the UK is headed towards socialism under the Tories’ Brexit but Scotland under independence will never be ruled by anyone but the SNP. Only you. Needless to say, the idea is ludicrous and about as socialist as the suit J P Morgan was buried in.

So a fair chunk of people do. 1) My recollection was that it was 30%, not a third. 2) Even if it was a third, that's only 15% of voters in 2014 3) We have a significantly different electorate now. According to YouGov in January, 24% didn't vote in Indyref1 or brexit (or both) 4) The same poll shows that more yes/leave voters have stuck with yes rather than moved to no. Add this to the no/remain voters that have moved to yes, and it's no surprise that yes currently appears to have a reasonable majority YouGov Survey Results Sample Size: 1039 Adults in Scotland (16+) Fieldwork: 22nd - 27th January 2020 Full survey results here

Yes, because obviously parents have suddenly been rendered incapable of looking after their kids since the start of this year, you stupid f**k.

renton
Russia report today. Looking forward to finding out that the Kremlin personally funded the Remain campaign, that the SNP are actually a bunch of manchurian candidates brainwashed in East German gulags back in the 80s and that the Leave campaign was a pure bastion of English life, akin to warm beer and county cricket, unsullied by outsiders. smpar
Terrifying to think what our healthcare system will be like in a few years. Also terrifying to think that Tory voters will justify this with flag emojis and claiming that Corbyn would have sold the NHS anyway.
Sherrif John Bunnell
It's very believable that the only vote Putin decided not to influence was the EU referendum. The result of which just happened to be hugely beneficial for him.Just like how he also doesn't have any troops in Ukraine and those two lads lads were in Salisbury for a bit of sightseeing.
