How would Russia/China react to us dropping missiles on Syria anyway? Cheeky little WW3? We'd be fucking fucked.

Probably the same as last time.  Bit of sabre-rattling, some "strong words", then it's all forgotten until the next well publicised chemical weapon attack. US troops have already killed Russian "mercenaries" in Syria, and nothing came from that.

Neither the US or Russia (and especially not China) want an escalation. It would be very surprising if there wasn't some sort of dialogue between the US and Russia behind the scenes.

So this free bus travel for under 25s in England then. Corbyn plans to fund it through VED that's collected in every part of the UK.

I would think some on here might not be too happy about that.

When they brought it in for London teenagers it went down badly, gangs of them being a pain in the arse.

Are we not helping ISIS by taking out Syrian military targets?
Bad guys are good guys because former good guy is now bad guy?

Some have been itching to get involved, we have no idea who we want to win, how on earth the country can be stabilised or how to protect civilians(you know the people we are meant to be helping)

But still, more bombs always helps. We just need to wait and see each morning where we drop them depending on who the news decides is the bad guy that day.

If we knew where Syria's chemical weapons labs and storage facilities were, why didn't we inform the OPCW before now? Same question applies to our 'intelligence' about Russia's secret, decade-long CW program which we only announced after Salisbury.

So SNP calls for Parliamentary debate before committing to action ignored.  May will use this as a ploy to show she is a “strong”leader and many of the little Englander types will buy into it.

Do you honestly think the Syrians would allow inspections without warning? Otherwise there would be no point.

That's not the point. The point is their claims now would have much more credibility if they had flagged it up in the past.

When it comes to the credibility of claims from the US, UK & France regarding Syria, they are starting from the position of being 8-nil down since we all know they've been plotting against Assad since a long time before the conflict even started. They have to do a lot more to convince than claiming after the fact that they knew all along.

There's no point in announcing intelligence if there's no way of doing anything about it through diplomatic procedures, it would just give Syria space to shift the stuff. And with Russia continually vetoing UN inspections nothing was going to happen.

The yanks and russians have daily briefings on syria so theres no blue on blue, the latest bombings would have been discussed to give any russian assets to get out of the area

Thats why old trumpy had to pull back on his twitter rant

And Donald gave enough warning for the Syrians to move their assets and personnel to Russian bases. I wouldn't be surprised if the death toll is zero.

The US claims Syria has used chemical weapons 50 times. They could have used this intel at any point to back up these claims, and assuming it's not made up it might have brought about an end to the conflict some time ago.

And all sides are vetoing UN resolutions. It seems to be the only thing the UN is used for these days, drafting resolutions you know the other side will block to make them look bad.

Some reports that British Special Ops have been captured in Eastern Ghoutam. Apparently part of a plan to invade areas of Syria on various fronts under NATO and Israeli air strikes. The plan was put on ice due to Syrian Army advances in the area.

Surely Trump and co would make up a chemical weapon attack to act as a smokescreen?

I saw this claim on Twitter but couldn't find anything else to back it up. Likely nonsense, or maybe why the Russians say they have 'irrefutable' proof the Brits were involved. Surely only the baddies get up to this sort of thing though.
