Granny Danger
I'm a bit of a philistine and know sod all about art but have seen a painting online that I fancy. Despite my lack of knowledge I prefer original artwork to prints. Are there any art lovers out there who can advise me of potential pitfalls of buying a painting online? Anyone done it?

Granny Danger
Just went ahead and made the purchase. Since it's the first one got 10% off (though not off the shipping cost). It's got a 14 day return period so if worst come to worst....

Mortar Bored
I've bought art from a fellow P&Ber, actually commissioned a couple of pieces from him too. Very happy so far. (2 prints & 2 commissioned originals). Depends if it's a reliable source I reckon.

NJ2
I am sure it is a good Investition. The art is much appreciated today and many art lovers are ready to pay for it good money. Today it brings joy to your wife, tomorrow it will rise in price and may be you will earn on it. Especially if the artist died long ago.Nae recipes?
