Whats the chances of the game v killie actually taking place at Tynie? And if not what are the options in terms of a venue with there being rugby on at Murrayfield? Other teams have been very helpful in terms of reversing fixtures until now but will such co-operation continue?

If there is any further delay, it will be announced by the end of the week I'd say, giving us the following options.

a) Reverse the fixture to Rugby Park

b) Postponement

c) Play the match at Tynecastle in front of just 3 stands

Would that not f**k over season ticket holders if it were at tynecastle in front of 3 stands?

Did Hearts not already swap the earlier fixture with Killie?

Meaning you have 2 home games against them & arent due to play at Rugby Park till after the split.

I really can't see that being an option. Postponement would be the obvious answer.

....aye, wee Budgie must’ve BJ’d the entire board of the SRU........
(And possibly Stuart Regan as well).

I’m pretty sure the SRU are being recompensed financially as opposed to by the somewhat unorthodox method you suggest

If you’re right however then hats off to Madam Budge for going above and beyond the call of duty.

We should be able to play the Kilmarnock match at Murrayfield if it comes to it as that gives the SRU a 6 day turnaround  to get it ready for the Samoa match.

If things screw up even further than that then the Partick and Ross County games would be more awkward

Sat 28 Oct 12:30 PM, Hearts vs Rangers, Murrayfield

Sun 05 Nov 03:00 PM, Hearts vs Kilmarnock, New improved Tynecastle

Sat 11 Nov 02:30 PM, Scotland vs Samoa, Murrayfield

Sat 18 Nov 05:15 PM, Scotland vs New Zealand, Murrayfield
Sun 19 Nov 03:00 PM, Hearts vs Partick Thistle, New improved Tynecastle
