Bully Wee Villa Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) Off topic slightly but is there a reason why Hampden Park is considered as the same stadium as the one that existed prior to 1999 whereas the Wembley that was opened in 2007 is regarded as a "new" ground? They were both completely replaced, weren't they? Or are there some parts of Hampden that were part of the old ground?
