Owsley
As a bit of an avid watcher of the football league shows over the past few years, I remember seeing Lewis chuck a few in for Peterborough. Struck me as a very erratic keeper.
Dons_1988
Does your squad need such a 'root and branch' change? The squad needs investment to provide strength in depth. The first 11 needs incremental improvement with the absolute necessity of a keeper which we look to have filled today.

powerhouse7
to Dundee United. I wouldn't mind that. Best keeper in championship past two season, would do decent job.

Milners
both our keeper were shite so binning them both and taking in Lewis and Alexander is a no brainer. perhaps the centre half problems can be put down to form. The team has outgrown Flood and a replacement for him would be good if we want to improve I would have said that the team has outgrown Flood a season ago but Jack form last season is a concern and think it is better to keep Flood. d31
Some fresh blood in at defensive midfield would be very welcome. Someone 6ft plus that is not afraid to put the boot in would be ideal - if they can pass too then praise the lord

d31
Disappointed we didn't get McGovern before the euros if indeed we were interested. yea, would rather have him than Lewis but we dont know that Lewis doesnt turn out to be a gem so we will see. A lot of names flying about so clearly a lot going on behind the scenes
jim999
We had one superb keeper last year but he could leave at any moment as proved the case. The deputies to him were total rubbish. So a very poor position to be in. Brown shipped a goal a game for nearly 7 games in a row toward the end of last season and possibly should've been shelved after the semi against the Jutes a couple of seasons back. Alexander is a very good SPFL keeper so if Lewis is similar in standard it looks like we're certainly less vulnerable. Two 7/10 goalies is better than a 9/10 employed by others with a rake of 5/10's as back up. As with some other posters I'm confident there's still a nugget or two of a signing to come. Deek ain't daft, he knows we fell short and it'll be tougher this year. Dons are a far more appealing club to a player than was the case even 3 years ago. We have spread our risk which seems sensible after what happened last season. A 7/10 reliable known quantity in Scottish fitba. Plus a 7/10 who could turn out to be an 8 or a 9 if he flourishes here in the same way Ward did.

Knowing his style the fact he's said there is a few more signings to come probably translates into a couple are 90% doneNormally keeps his card close to his chest so if he had budget but nothing on the radar highly unlikely he would have made the comment
