Rangers seem to be sending a lot of their players down south on loan to create some transfer value. Might be a few at the top Premiership teams who could do a job. Euan Henderson at Hearts would be a good signing but I'm not sure if he's available? I wouldnt read too much into those articles. They rate the "best young midfielders in the country", by ignoring the ones who've been loaned out. Their goalkeeper list had Jack Hamilton as a better keeper than Joe Lewis FFS.

Reid
Not keen on Fyvie at all. We already have 3 injury prone CMs.

oneteaminglasgow
I must have missed something. Have we been linked with Fyvie? Apparently played as a trialist for us against Motherwell.
Walter
Apparently played as a trialist for us against Motherwell. Then I'd have to agree with the previous comment about taking on another injury prone midfielder. I thought he'd signed for Cove.
Aidan
Not up to much m9?He was decent enough for us but I don't think he's at the level to playing for a club who should be top 4 in the Championship yet.
Jacky1990
Did Fyvie not play with Caldwell at Wigan. Quite likely GC is just offering training to a mate to keep him fit over the summer and boost numbers for training, etc.
Ludo*1
Fyvie was on trial with us the other week. We decided to pass on him once we'd got McPake's first choice midfielder of Jamie Ness in.

Tbh, only difference between those two injury prone midfielders is that Fyvie is ginger.

bad chad
According to Wikki, Fyvie played Once for Wigan in his time there. Not much to build trust on...
cilitbang
Is it just me that is quite concerned about the squad? Obviously there are additions inbound, however... Outside of the goalkeepers, I think we are crap to bang average across the board. Edited July 9, 2019 by cilitbang

Outside of the goalkeepers, I think we are crap to bang average across the board. Was saying the same yesterday. We’re fine for keepers and CMs but either short or weak everywhere else. Our CBs are ok but lacking depth - I’m happy with O’Ware and Saunders, but while there’s no doubt McGinty improved playing next to Anderson at the end of last season, watching him lose a header to Aidan Connolly in that friendly v Falkirk brought all the bad memories flooding back. Even if McGinty was more assured, we’d still be short because Caldwell seems to favour playing 3 CBs, and we only have 3 of them. FB/WB is a bit of an unknown quantity with Williamson and Robson new to the club. Penrice is alright but we could do with backup on the right side. It’s in an attacking sense where we’re at our weakest. At attacking midfield and on the wing we have Cardle, and that’s it, while at striker we have a 39yo Miller and an unproven Mansell. Depth is shocking, although surely we’ll be addressing that, especially after losing Fitzpatrick. I’d say at least 4 attacking bodies needed.
