Walter
I reckon he might come home. Don't care if he's finished.Well said. A man who is tired of Gary Harkins is tired of life.

jagfox
Looks like a quiet finish to the transfer window for us. Quite a lot of ins and outs and I'm guessing the management will be fairly happy with their haul. Hopefully this wind dies down and we can bounce back in the McCall derby on Friday night.

Definitely not done. Our business is done when we get a cringey as f**k video of Gerry closing his office door and confirming it to the crappy handheld camera.

It's bewildering that we seem to have strengthened a rival team by taking a player they wanted rid of, while taking on a player who hasn't at all looked good enough for this level of football. On the face of it, Thistle have played a blinder here. It's certainly the best bit business since we managed to more or less swap Keown for Ando
Fuctifano
On the Ayr thread that Doolan is away. He's not going anywhere else, is he?
jagfox
@Fuctifano unless Auchinleck Talbot are in the hunt I'd doubt it? ❤

Armand 2
If Dools returns, we may as well retire from future January transfer windows - this one won't be beaten.
DazzJag
I'd be disappointed to see Doolan come back. He looked absolutely finished last season at this level. I'd be happy to see him come back in a coaching role but maybe playing part time elsewhere.

Lambie's Pigeon Feed
We've had some turnover this window so wouldn't be surprised if we cant accommodate Doolan even though he'd be comparative peanuts. He'll definitely be back as a coach/4th choice striker in the summer.
JudgeMudge
Random scenario - imagine three players got injured in the first half tonight - would McCall spend the second half on the phone trying to get replacements in?
forameus
More likely he'd spend it prowling the touchlines, seeing which Ayr players he can tempt to change jerseys at half time.
Fuctifano
Kris Doolan literally parachuting in halfway through the second half.
cilitbang
Ross Docherty will play the 2nd half for us then.
