Good experience, can cover a few positions and not someone youd imagine spitting the dummy out when hes benched most of the season. Squad looking pretty tidy in comparison to other clubs. Don’t think he’ll get much game time with us this season although keeping him as back up remains an option. Thistle_do_nicely Posted July 23, 2022 Share Posted July 23, 2022 Quite like the look of the side tbh, thought the chance was gone for fitzpatrick but he still somehow dug out a great finish. Goals from holt + mcmillan too, tap in for mullen after nice work from weston. Weston already looks vastly better than Allegria ever did, small but nice and sharp, one of those "low centre of gravity" players. Bannigan was ropey but at least theres options in midfield if he's needing a rest or whatever. Milne was excellent, hope he went off just as a precaution. Fuctifano Posted July 23, 2022 Share Posted July 23, 2022 Thought Mitchell could have done better at the second goal, yes there's an unfortunate rebound but if he holds the header or turns it round the post rather than punching it back out then it definitely doesn't happen. Assume Sneddon will start next week. First goal was obviously a massive bollock by banzo, i thought Montrose had fucked the 3 on 2 when they passed to the boy that was covered but he done well to finish. Both full backs played well again and Lawless and Fitzpatrick had their best games since coming back. I like Dowds, pity he couldn't get his first competitive goal today. Mullen I didn't think was great especially off the ball but conversely he is at least up and running. Graham almost certainly starting next week anyway. I think we'll give someone an absolute thrashing this season, the potential is there if everything clicks one day, but still questions about the central defence and probably keeper too. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was sitting in front of his family at the game then went for a post match drink at The Botany and bumped into some friends then saw Mine and family.
